Fisher-Titus Staff Preparing to Open New Space for Imaging Services and Pre-Admission Testing

13 x-ray room training2As finishing touches to Fisher-Titus Medical Center’s new space for Imaging Services and Pre-Admission Testing and Infusion Therapy Services nears completion, Vickie Salmons (left), Radiographer; Heather Harris, Radiographer; and Lindsay Mulvin, Student Radiographer, train on the new X-ray equipment. The X-ray Suite was designed with three access points: fast-paced access for emergency patients; direct access for patients from the inpatient unit or the nursing home; and increased privacy for outpatients.  Several services, such as Computer Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear Medicine and X-ray, are already functioning in the new Imaging Services space.  All other services will be open in the new area by Friday, April 12. The Imaging Services Seating Area and Pre-Admission Testing/Infusion Therapy Services will officially open on Monday, April 15.
